Audition call for Taki Rua tour

AUDITION CALL!

Taki Rua is on the search for two fabulous actors to join our tour of Te Kuia me te Pūngāwerewere by Jamie McCaskill, adapted from the book by Patricia Grace, and will be holding open auditions Friday 30th August from midday.

Audition Date: Friday 30th August 2024

Audition Location: Te Haukāinga, 274 Taranaki Street, Mt Cook, Wellington

Audition Format: The audition process will be a 60 minute workshop with Director Jamie McCaskill. You do not need to prepare any script for this audition. The goal is to see how you play, interact, and adapt to different directions. We are looking for TWO performers for this tour, in addition to the two already contracted.

The play is entirely in te reo Māori, and so a level of confidence in reo is required for performers in this production.

Contract Dates: 14th October 2024 - 6th December 2024
